School Policies
Early Student Pick-Up Policy
For the safety of our students and staff, students may not be picked up from school between 2:30pm and 3:00pm, each day. During this time, our students and staff are in transition and are preparing for afternoon dismissal. Afternoon dismissal begins at 3:00pm.
Student Records Policy
A Request for Student Records, including a Student’s Transcript, must be submitted to the Front Office Staff. An advance notice of 48 hours or more is required for all record requests. No Exceptions. Please Note: Records will not be released for any student who has an outstanding balance on his/her account with Cornerstone School.
Reporting Professional Misconduct
Section 1006.061(2), Florida Statutes, requires each district school, charter school and private school that accepts scholarship students to post at the school site and on the schools’ internet site (if available) the policies and procedures for reporting alleged misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators which affects the health, safety or welfare of a student. The notices must include the contact person to whom the report is made and the penalties imposed on those instructional personnel or school administrators who fail to report suspected child abuse or misconduct by other instructional personnel or school administrators.
