Ms. Donna Stables

Headmaster

Ms. Donna Stables, a native to Jacksonville, Florida, leads the Administrative Team of Cornerstone Christian School and has done so since June of 2009. She joined the Cornerstone faculty as a founding member in June of 2002, serving as the Director of the School. During this period, Ms. Stables also enjoyed time as a middle and high school English teacher. Prior to joining Cornerstone Christian School, Ms. Stables served as School Director of Curriculum Studies and a reading specialist during her 10-year career.

Mrs. Sabra Selling

School Principal

Mrs. Sabra Selling has been an employee at Cornerstone School for over 10 years.  She began as the Preschool Director/Preschool 4 teacher and quickly moved into Elementary, making it a point to "move" with her students through 2nd grade. Along with 30 years in education, she has a Bachelor's Degree in Education.  ​She currently serves as Cornerstone's Principal.  Her experience ranges from Special Needs preschoolers to the elderly.  She served as a Behaviorist for the State of Florida/Developmental Services for 8 years, serving special needs students both in a day program and at home.  Her experience is vast, and her only goal is to see students reach their greatest potential by ensuring that support is given where needed.

Mr. Donald Corley III

Director of Operations / Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Donald Corley III, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, currently serves as Cornerstone's Director of Operations and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Corley has shown tremendous dedication to Cornerstone and as such, he has received multiple advancements in his position at Cornerstone, since joining the team in 2009.

​Mr. Corley is responsible for all aspects of Cornerstone's finances, including, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, insurance risk management corporate strategies, and Human Resources. In addition, Mr. Corley was elected to Cornerstone's Board of Directors in June 2017 and currently serves as the Treasurer. Mr. Corley and his wife Faith recently welcomed their first child, Riverlea, in September 2020.

Mr. Eric Wagner

Director of School Development

Degree: Associates in Arts

Mr. Eric Wagner, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, has been an integral part of the Cornerstone Family for a long time. He works as an Administrator and Human Resources in the Business Office.

​Mr. Wagner took time away from Cornerstone for a few years to be the Caregiver for his mother, who had ALS. He dedicated all his time to make sure his mother got the best care possible. When she passed in March 2016, after a 10+ year battle with ALS, Mr. Wagner returned to Cornerstone to continue his role as part of the Cornerstone family. 

​Mr. Wagner loves to go to Sporting Events such as, Football Games, Basketball Games and Baseball Games. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends on his days off. 

Mr. Joshua Myers

Facility Administrator

Degree: Associates in Arts

 

Mr. Joshua Myers is the Facility Administrator here at Cornerstone Christian School and is also known for wearing many different hats, such as construction, cleaning, electrician, plumbing, yard maintenance, and even the occasional breaking into parent’s cars when they lock their keys inside. He will do anything and everything he can for Cornerstone and continues to faithfully serve the school since his time of attending and then graduating from Cornerstone back in 2005.

 

After graduation, he worked for the school doing many different projects while attending college to earn a degree for teaching. Mr. Myers then moved up to become the Facility Administrator, which he continues to do today.

Mrs. Erin Becote

School Administrator

Degree: Master of Arts in Education / Curriculum and Instruction

Mrs. Becote is an Idaho native, graduated from Simpson University in Redding, Ca., and attended University of Phoenix for her Master's in Education. She is also a wife and mother of 2 girls. Outside of work, Mrs. Becote enjoys spending time with her family, reading, music, and being outdoors. She is devoted to the success of those around her and is happy to be part of the Cornerstone Team.

Mrs. Katelyn Williams

Administrative Specialist

Ms. Katelyn Williams has worked for Cornerstone since 2012. Her favorite thing about being a part of the Cornerstone team is watching the children grow and lending a helping hand to students and parents. Ms. Katelyn’s favorite past times involve reading, laughing, shopping and being surrounded by those she loves.

Ms. Ashlee Ellen

Administrative Specialist

Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education

Ms. Ashlee Ellen, a native to Jacksonville, FL, joined the Cornerstone Christian School Team in August of 2015. Ms. Ellen attended Coker College where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Science in 2015. Outside of Cornerstone, Ms. Ellen enjoys walking her dog, Tyson, exercising and going to the pool. 

 

Ms. Ellen re-connected with her church, Celebration, when she returned to Jacksonville in May of 2015 from college. Ms. Ellen enjoys helping our students and she takes great pride in all their accomplishments.

Ms. Rebecca Bennett

Teacher - PreSchool

Degree: National CDA Certification

 

Ms. Rebecca Bennett has over ten years childcare experience. Younger children ages one to three are her favorite to work with. She loves to help a child learn a new skill or reach a new milestone in their intellectual development. Ms. Rebecca is fond of reading, and loves going to theme parks.

Mrs. Sheila Porter

Teacher - VPK Lead

Degree: National CDA Certification

 

Ms. Sheila Porter joined the Cornerstone Family in February 2020 as a VPK Lead Teacher.

 

Ms. Porter has been in the education field since 2010.  When she first began working with children, she knew she had found the right career. As the mother of five children, Ms. Porter understands the importance of building positive relationships with students and their parents. She has always had an open-door policy and enjoys assisting parents, whenever possible.

 

Outside of work, Ms. Porter enjoys reading, word games, and spending time with family.

Mrs. Allyn Anderson

Teacher - Elementary School

Degree: Bachelor of Science in Psychology

Ms. Anderson, has recently moved back to Jacksonville, Florida from working in New Zealand to be an Elementary School Teacher at Cornerstone Christian School. She attended the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a minor in Elementary Education. When Ms. Anderson is not in the classroom she enjoys traveling whenever she can and spending time in the ocean. Ms. Anderson has traveled to 24 different countries so far during her life. Ms. Anderson really loves working with children and seeing how their minds develop across time. She is so excited to be part of this years Cornerstone staff. 

Ms. Jasmine Green

Teacher - Kindergarten

Degree: Bachelor's of Science in Applied Management

Jasmine Green, a native of Jacksonville, Florida is returning to the Cornerstone Family for the upcoming school year. Ms. Green has been a teacher for over 7 years, predominantly in the elementary grades. She loves teaching our youth to prepare them for the next steps in their education. 

Mrs. Sherece Campbell

Teacher - 1st Grade

Degree: Associates in Arts

Mrs. Sherece Campbell is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She moved to Meridian, MS in 1998 where she attended college and met her husband. She has four children, three boys and one girl. She also has one granddaughter and another on the way. She enjoys worshiping Christ, spending time with family, creative activities, home decorating, event planning, and teaching. Sherece has worked with children for many years in many different environments. Sherece uses a balance of love, nurture, and discipline to encourage growth and development in children. Sherece believes that building on a child’s natural gifts and abilities improves self-worth. Sherece finds strength in Psalms 18:2 “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Mrs. Pauline White

Teacher - Middle School English

Degree: Associates in Arts

Mrs. Pauline White, a native to New York City and has lived in Jacksonville over 20 years, joined the Cornerstone faculty, in August of 2019 and currently teaches Middle School English at Cornerstone’s South side Campus. Mrs. Pauline White attended Logos University and received her Associates in Arts degree. Prior to joining Cornerstone Schools, Mrs. White served as a High School Spanish teacher as well as Middle school English at Seacoast Christian School. 

 

Mrs. White and her husband Dan, live on the Southside of Jacksonville with their 3 children. When Mrs. White is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her children playing sports, movies and working with her church Total Life Church. Mrs. White has dedicated her life to educating and serving children with resources that God has given her to steward. She takes great pride in the accomplishments of her students.

Ms. Lidia Aleman

Teacher - 3rd Grade

Degree: Master of Arts Degree

Lidia Aleman has been a teacher for the past twelve years. She has taught grades 1-5. She believes that each child is unique with a special talent and works to help each develop their individual talents and gifts.  She loves working with children and has extensive experience working with exceptional students m. She has two children of her own. Her faith and commitment to her students is what sets her apart from anybody else.

Ms. Aleman received her Masters Degree in Corporate communications from Fairleigh Dickenson University and her Bachelor Degree in Advertising from Hartford University.  She is currently working on completing her Masters Degree in education. Lidia also has an extensive background in graphic arts.

At age 12 Lidia came to the United States alone  from Honduras and was subsequently adopted.  This and her other childhood experiences helped her former a unique world view and perspective.  Her life experiences and willingness to share make her a delight to speak with and learn from. She is a well rounded individual who lives with passion, dedication, and grace.

Mrs. Iyana Gilbert

Teacher - 3rd Grade

Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education

Mrs. Iyana Gilbert  was born in Michigan and  moved to Jacksonville Florida in 1991 with her family. Mrs. Gilbert graduated from Edward Waters College in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Gilbert has been teaching since 2014 and currently teaches 3rd Grade at Cornerstone. 

Before joining Cornerstone she was employed with Duval County Public Schools. Mrs. Gilbert's mission is to guide her students to grow academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. She believe's this is done through building confidence and having a love to learn. Mrs. Gilbert encourage her students to trust themselves in order to achieve academic growth and success.

Ms. Deborah Dill

Teacher - Elementary School

Ms. Deborah Dill, a native of Jacksonville Florida, joined the Cornerstone faculty in August of 2018 and is currently teaching 5th grade. She was a Paraprofessional for Aiken County Public Schools, Aiken, SC. Ms. Dill has been trained in Applied Behavior Therapy and Crisis Intervention for K-5. She also has Certificates in Vet. Tech, Nail Tech and Phlebotomy. Attended FCCJ in Jacksonville Florida and Aiken Tech College in Aiken SC.

 

Ms. Dill has two children and two grand children that also live in Jacksonville and lives with her fiance in the Arlington Area. Ms. Dill is an avid dog lover, she has nine dogs and shows them in professional dog registries, a Judge for the Continental Bully Registry, travels to other states all over the United States showing and judging dog shows in her free time. She recently moved back to Jacksonville from Graniteville SC where she lived for the last 24 years. Ms. Dill believes that if she can make a difference in one child's life that's a blessing. Proverbs 22:6 Train a child up in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Mrs. Cherise Bailey

Teacher - 5th Grade

Degree: Master of Public Health

Ms. Cherise Bailey originally from Detroit, Michigan, retired in 2016 in Orange Park, FL after serving in the United States Army. Ms. Bailey has taught in numerous capacities over the years, especially as a mother of six young men. When her time was up after serving her country, she heard the call to teach and became a substitute teacher for Kelly Educational Staffing. With three years of experience substituting for numerous schools in Clay County and finding that teaching young people is where God called her to be, the decision to make teaching a full-time career was easy. So, Ms. Bailey enrolled in the TeacherReady program at the University of West Florida to pursue a Certification of Professional Teaching Degree. Ms. Bailey holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health and is currently working on her Ph.D. in Health Education and Promotion.

 

 Ms. Bailey became a part of the Cornerstone facility team in August of 2019, and she currently teaches 5th grade. When Ms. Bailey is not teaching at Cornerstone Christian School, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, their 11 children, and nine grandchildren.

Mrs. Toni McGinnis

Teacher - Middle/High School Online

Degree: Bachelor in Middle Childhood Education

Toni McGinnis is rejoining the Cornerstone Family for this upcoming year. While working as an Elementary Teacher here at Cornerstone, Mrs. McGinnis excelled in every aspect of the position. Mrs. Toni McGinnis went to college at Ohio Christian University and received her Bachelor’s Degree for Middle Childhood Education. 

Mrs. McGinnis is excited to return and will lead the online platform for the upcoming school year. 

Ms. Veronica Capers

Teacher - Middle School History

Degree: Bachelor of Science in Psychology

Ms. Veronica Capers has been a teacher at Cornerstone Christian School since 2015. Ms. Capers has taught both Elementary and Middle School classes here at Cornerstone. Ms. Capers' Mission statement is as follows - As a teacher I will create an educational partnership with the parent and student that will foster courage, determination, and passion for knowledge. Ms. Capers is excited for the new year and ready to teach her students to prepare for the future.

Ms. Margaret Christian

Teacher - Middle School Math

Degree: Associates in Arts

 

Ms. Margaret Christian, a native of Philadelphia and transplant from Fairbanks, Alaska, joined the Cornerstone faculty in August of 2005. She taught lower school grades at our South campus until 2009. In September 2013 she returned to teach at our North campus and currently teaches a combined sixth and seventh grade class, as well as fifth grade math. Ms. Christian attended Penn State and University of Alaska for Early Childhood Education. As an Early Childhood educator she has worked positions ranging from infant provider to school age supervisor and summer recreation coordinator. Prior to joining Cornerstone School, Ms. Christian served as a 4th grade teacher at Fairhill Christian School. Ms. Christian worships at Tabernacle of Joy, where she teaches Sunday school and sings on the Praise team. When she is not teaching she enjoys reading, playing board games and spending time with her family. Ms. Christian sees teaching as more than a job, it is her ministry. She takes great pride in the accomplishments of her students and has dedicated her life to educating and serving children with the resources that God has given her to steward.

Mr. Brandon Fox

Teacher - Middle School English

Degree: Bachelor of Science

Brandon Fox has been teaching for more than 15 years to students all ages in the United States and in different countries around the world. He grew up in the beautiful state of Maine, where he did all his schooling, elementary through university.  He graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in education and worked with high school students at different sports camps during the summer months while in college. After graduating from university in the summer of 1990, he decided to go to a ministry school, named Morning Star Ministries, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. There he studied, taught and established life long friendships, while growing in the knowledge of Lord. Once two years were up at Morning Star, he moved around the United States connecting with different ministries, exploring different parts of the country, and meeting interesting fascinating people along the way.  Brandon has managed to live in or travel through about forty different states, and has come to appreciate the vastness and beauty of this country we call home.  After a couple years of bouncing around the United States and teaching in a few of them, he decided to take his adventurous ways overseas.  Brandon took his knowledge and experience in teaching while in the USA, to different countries around the world.  He found himself teaching and traveling through most of Asia, to the South Pacific, to parts of Central America, and to most of Europe.  During these years of traveling to other countries, and experiencing other cultures, Brandon came away with a broader view of the world, an appreciation of eating very unique types of food and wonderful interesting relationships.  Brandon is a traveler, an adventurer, a reader, loves movies of old and new, chills out with music of all genres, plays and watches all types of sports, a foodie and loves to connect with this generation and next.  Life is a series of continual amazing moments, one right after another: live life to the fullest.  

Mrs. Emily Reichenbach

Teacher - High School Math

Degree: Bachelor of Science in Mathematics

Ms. Emily Reichenbach, recently moved down to the Jacksonville area and joined the Cornerstone family in August 2019. She currently teaches high school math at Cornerstone. Ms. Reichenbach graduated from Emmanuel College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics.

 

Before Cornerstone, Ms. Reichenbach worked at Emmanuel College’s Academic Resource Center where she instructed various math courses. Ms. Reichenbach currently lives with her husband and her dog, Izzy.

 

When Ms. Reichenbach is not at school, she enjoys playing with her dog and going swimming. Ms. Burt wants to fill her students’ hearts with a love for math and Christ. She is excited to see what adventures the new school year holds.

Mrs. Wendy Cruz

Teacher - High School Science

Degree: Associate in Science

Mrs. Cruz, a native of Dominica Republic, joined the Cornerstone faculty in August of 2013, and currently teaches middle and high school at the Cornerstone Christian School. Ms. Cruz attended Virginia's College at Jacksonville and received her Associates in Science degree.

Ms. Cruz lives on the Southside of Jacksonville with her two daughters, Cindy and Diana, and her son Christopher. When Ms. Cruz is not teaching, she enjoys cleaning and cooking. Ms. Cruz dedicates some of her free time helping out her friends.

Mr. Daniel White Jr.

Teacher - High School History

Degree: Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies

Mr. Daniel White, a native to Jacksonville Florida, joined the Cornerstone faculty, in July of 2019 and currently teaches High School History, Speech and H.O.P.E. at Cornerstone’s Southside Campus. Mr. White received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies in 2001. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Mr. White served as a Middle School and High School Bible, P.E., Finance, World Culture and Athletic Director at another private school in Jacksonville. 

 

Mr. White and his wife, live in Jacksonville with their 3 children. When Mr. White is not teaching, he enjoys spending time with family, athletics, movies and working with his church, Total L.I.F.E. Church. Mr. White has dedicated his life to educating and serving children with resources that God has given him to steward. 

Ms. Jada Gadson

Lower School Resource Teacher

Ms. Jada Gadson was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. She attended and graduated from Cornerstone Christian School in 2019. Ms. Gadson wanted to give back to the same community which helped guide her with her education. She hopes that she can do for others as others did for her. Ms. Gadson is a very happy and loving person. She is open and optimistic to new things that life throws her way. 

 

Ms. Gadson loves to be around children and mentions that the love they give back to her make her job very rewarding.

Ms. DaShaundra Smith

Middle School Science and Resource Teacher

Ms. DaShaundra Smith, a native to Jacksonville, Florida, joined the Cornerstone Christian School Team in February 2017. After working a wonderful year of Summer Camp as a Camp Counselor, Ms. Smith decided to pursue the career of working with kids. She currently serves as an Elementary Resource Teacher and is attending Florida State College of Jacksonville for her Associates in Science for Early Childhood Education.

In her spare time, Ms. Smith enjoys playing Softball and Volleyball. 

Ms. Frances Green

Teacher - Substitute

Degree: Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration 

Ms. Frances Green has been teaching in the education field for over 30 years and is a graduate of Edward Waters College. Ms. Green has a passion for teaching and enjoys working with kids each day. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Ms. Green worked as a teacher in the Duval County Public School System.

Dr. Gail Cato

Teacher - Middle/High School Bible

Degree: Doctorate of Christian Counseling 

Dr. Gail Cato came to  know Jesus as her Lord and Savior in Feb. 1983 at her home in Philadelphia, PA., while listening to a message by Dr. Charles Stanley on the radio. She is a mother of two young adults who are also believers in Christ.

 

Dr. Cato is originally from Springfield, Mass and a graduate of William Raines in Jacksonville.  She received her BA in Psychology from Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA; a MA in Literacy Education/English from Cambridge College in Mass, and a Doctorate in Pastoral Christian Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, GA. She enjoys traveling, reading, writing, singing, performing arts and decorating greeting cards. She also enjoys encouraging others to "Be strong in the Lord", no matter what the situations are that we face in this world. Just give it to Jesus and he will work it out, in His time. Have faith in God.
