Shatavia Scott

Miss Shatavia Scott grew up in Madison, Florida, where her interest in education and community service began at an early age. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding people, systems, and the importance of fairness and advocacy.
Her journey into education started with Madison County School District, where she served as a paraprofessional for several years. There, she gained valuable hands on experience working closely with students, supporting teachers, and building strong relationships with young learners. She later transitioned into teaching, where she led both 2nd and 6th grade in music classes with care and confidence.
Miss Scott brings a unique blend of structure, patience, and empathy to her work. She draws on her background in public service to create a classroom environment that supports both academic growth and personal development. Her students know they are respected, challenged, and cared for.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes, especially desserts. Traveling and spending time with her loved ones keep her grounded, and she values her faith and service to others. Whether in the classroom or the community, Miss Scott is committed to helping young people grow into their best selves.
