Although Cornerstone is a private school, it is often free or available at a reduced cost for students who qualify, which allows parents to choose the best learning environment for their children. Cornerstone Christian School accepts many forms of financial assistance to help parents with the cost of tuition, curriculum, and transportation fees. 

Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (Income Based) 
To expand educational opportunities for children of families that have limited financial resources and to enable children in this state to achieve a greater level of excellence in their education, the Florida Legislature created the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program in 2001. Under the law, the scholarships are based on financial need, not how well your child does in school. They are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis & do not have to be re-paid. Currently, there are two Scholarship Funding Organizations, Step-Up for Students and AAA Scholarship Organization, that award scholarships to eligible children of low-income families. Eligibility: For children entering grades, Kindergarten thru 12th, that live in a low-income household, that is within the income guidelines and Military Households.  

Family Empowerment Scholarship - Education Options (FES-EO) 
The Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES) Program is one of Florida’s greatest victories for low-income and working-class families, and it is the first of its kind to extend support to middle-income families. Following the 2019 Legislative Session, Governor Ron DeSantis signed SB 7070, which creates the FES Program and provides 18,000 students life-changing education opportunities for academic and career success. The FES Program will provide an educational lifeline to students waiting for an opportunity to find the school that will best work for them and puts more parents in the driver’s seat to determine the best educational environments for their children. Eligibility: For children entering grades, Kindergarten thru 12th, that live in a low-income household, that is within the income guidelines. 

Family Empowerment Scholarship - Unique Abilities (FES-UA)
Florida's school choice programs ensure that no child will be left behind by allowing parents to choose the best educational setting. The McKay Scholarships for Students with Disabilities Program provides Florida students with special needs the opportunity to attend a participating private school. Eligibility: For children entering grades, Kindergarten thru 12th, that currently attend a Florida Public School, have an IEP (Individual Education Plan) or 504 Plan, and have met the minimum attendance requirement. 

The Florida HOPE Scholarship
In 2018, the Florida Legislature created the Hope Scholarship Program to give public school children in Florida relief from bullying and violence. The scholarship gives parents the opportunity to request a scholarship for the student to attend an eligible private school. This program is administered by Step Up For Students. Eligibility: For children in grades, Kindergarten thru 12th, that have been a victim of a qualifying bully incident that took place in a Florida Public School, any school-related or school-sponsored program or activity, riding on the school bus or waiting at the school bus stop. Qualifying incidents include battery; harassment; hazing; bullying; kidnapping; physical attack; robbery; sexual offenses, harassment, assault or battery; threat or intimidation; or fighting at school as defined by the Florida Department of Education in accordance with s. 1006.09(6). 

School Readiness Child Care Assistance (Early Learning Collation)
School Readiness Assistance allows eligible families to offset the expense of child care by paying a reduced parent fee. Eligibility: School Readiness is available to families who are 1) At or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level AND 2) Employed at least 20 hours per week OR a student taking at least 12 credit hours.
