Justin Dorsey

Mr. Justin Dorsey is excited to serve as a second-grade teacher and is passionate about helping every student learn, grow, and succeed. A proud Jacksonville, Florida native, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Edward Waters College and has spent the past six years teaching students in grades 3 through 12.

Mr. Dorsey believes that every child deserves a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom where they feel valued and encouraged to do their best. He strives to make learning meaningful, fun, and challenging while helping students build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. He also values the partnership between home and school and believes that students achieve their greatest success when teachers and families work together.

Outside of the classroom, Mr. Dorsey enjoys playing billiards, trying new recipes, and reading. He is always looking for new ways to grow as an educator so he can provide the very best learning experience for his students. Mr. Dorsey is honored to be part of each child’s educational journey and looks forward to a year filled with curiosity, laughter, growth, and achievement. Together, let’s make second grade a year of big dreams, bright minds, and endless possibilities!
