Devon Goodwin

Devon Goodwin is a 25-year-old educator who was born and raised in New York. Growing up in a Christian household alongside five siblings—two older and three younger—helped shape his strong values of compassion, respect, and service to others. He is a proud graduate of Niagara Falls High School and has dedicated his career to supporting and inspiring young learners.

Before joining CCS, Devon gained valuable experience working in after-school and extracurricular programs, including two years with the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Florida. These experiences strengthened his passion for mentoring students, building positive relationships, and creating engaging learning environments where every child can succeed.

This is Devon's first year at CCS, where he teaches students in Kindergarten through 5th grade as one of the resources teachers. He is excited to become part of the school community and looks forward to encouraging students both academically and personally. Devon believes every child deserves a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom where they feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

Outside of the classroom, Devon enjoys creating art and using creativity as a way to express himself and connect with others. He enjoys incorporating artistic activities into learning whenever possible to inspire imagination and boost student engagement. Devon is thrilled to begin this new chapter at CCS and is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of his students while fostering a love for learning, creativity, and personal growth.
