Charles Brand

Charles Brand joined the Cornerstone faculty in August 2026 as an upper school English and social studies teacher. Mr. Brand received his master's degree in history from the University of Central Florida in 2013. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Mr. Brand taught AP U.S. history at Allen D. Nease High School, and he has also served as a GED instructor and job coach for both the Florida Department of Corrections and the Vocational Rehabilitation service since 2019.

Though originally from South Florida, Mr. Brand has made the Jacksonville area home for over twenty years. He (unfortunately) still roots for the Dolphins nonetheless. When not in the classroom, Mr. Brand enjoys the outdoors, as well as traveling to Orlando and Miami to catch up with friends and family.
