Raja Backmon

Education is not only her profession but also her passion, and Raja Backmon brings both to her work at Cornerstone. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, she graduated from Jean Ribault Senior High School and went on to Bethune-Cookman University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Before joining the Cornerstone family, she taught at another local Jacksonville private school.

Mrs. Backmon and her husband are blessed with a daughter. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with family, serving as a youth and worship leader at her church, and running her own company, Darling & Boo Bowtique. She believes it is her duty as an educator to help develop and nurture the leaders of tomorrow, and she is thrilled to bring her talents to Cornerstone Christian School.
